I just got this off of Jeffree Stars myspace... if this is the truth then what happened to Brit is messed up and I can totally sympathize!! Please Read THIS IS THE TRUTH ABOUT WHY BRIT FAILED TONIGHT... love you B.
Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.
Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. That big-mouthed b!#%& said it anyway.
Sam Lufti (VMA producer) was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: "Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh."

strwaberry obviously you dont have any kids, so you wouldnt know how protective us parents are of our defensless kids, i hope you become famous so we can take pot shots like saying how YOUR kids were mistakes.

i wasnt defending britney i found this on a site for the vma's. Sarah silverman sucks, shes not even funny,she makes her career out of insulting people on national tv. Shes gonna get hers one day and its not gonna be very funny.

If that really was the reason I would have pulled a Kid Rock on her butt and not let it interfere w/ my comeback performance.
I think Sarah is usually hilarious but last night was a bunch of bad judgement calls for her. I don't care much about Paris. Brittney on the other hand needs to heal and that just didn't help at all.

Actually that's not true. No one knew what Sarah was going to say except for Sarah.
I agree that was VERY messed up for Sarah Silverman to take shots at Britney's kids though. It's one thing if she would have just made fun of Britney, but it was totally wrong to bring her children into it.

What Sarah Silverman says is not funny. I thought what she said about Paris Hilton was highly inappropriate, too (whatever award show that was). No child is a mistake.
Britney needs to focus on her personal life instead of her comeback career in my opinion. Her heart did not seem into it in her performance. She looked like she didn't care.

If thats true that is sad. It showed in her performance. I dont like Sarah Silverman. She is not funny, and everything she says is mean. There are ways to make people laugh without talking trash about Paris Hilton, 50 Cent, Lindsay Lohen, or Brittney Spears. â¥

Sarah is a b!#%& ,She is so fake like she doesn't have any problems .I would like to have punched her too .Sarah shoudn't had mess with Britney .And maybe she is jealous that Britney would get back on the track with this performance .She is really unprofessional .

THE REAL REASON THE PERFORMANCE WAS AWFUL -
First of all, SS is a total bag, but I don't think you can blame her for Britney's dull performance.
The real reason she was so bad is that she is 2 MONTHS PREGNANT with BOBBY BROWNS' BABY. Everyone will know the truth soon.

Wow. If there is any truth to that, I hope it all comes to light - not that anyone will care. I do feel awful for her if it's true. Not only would I have walked out on the show, I would have beat Sarah's a** for talking about my kids like that. Say what you want about me, but don't mess with my kids.

WOW. wow wow wow. so i was thoroughly looking forward to britney's comeback last night. i was really rooting for her and when she did that crappy performance i was really let down. but after hearing this side I FEEL so bad. i'm not gonna lie, i REALLY do not like sarah silvernman. her jokes are really lame--desparate measures. i like classic comedians.
thanks for posting this. although I still feel let down by Britney's performance, at least there is a reason for it {rather than her just giving up or whatever}

Sarah Silverman did NOTHING wrong. she is a comedian, its her job to make fun of people.
Besides, Britney f ucked up on the "performance" becuz of her own damn self. instead of club hopping the night before she should have been rehearsing...that un-talented hag didnt even sing live, she lyp-synched the whole song and didnt even remember the lyrics. how unprofessional of her.
