any works of literature or myth that talk about death personified as a woman (goddess, spirit) and food?

I wrote of poem about death feeding a guest for workshop, but I was told that it would be better if I found piece of literature that dealt with death and food to use as an epigraph. I was thinking also about the theme of the food and the underworld and specifically about Persephone, Hades, and the pomegranate seed, but I have personified death as a woman and the speaker as a man; I could just inverse the characters...but anyway. Or any written myth about a femenized death figure feeding a person.

How about Tantalus in the underworld, whose tortures are overseen by the goddess Erinys (a Tartarean-demon). His punishment was to have food dangling within reach but always eluding his grasp.

The myths that came to mind for me didn't really have to do with food except the one someone already mentioned about Persephone.
The Banshee was female, and was like the Grim Reaper or Angel of Death, she came to Irish houses and took the dead.
The other was a Goddess, Kali, who symbolizes death and is seen wearing skulls around as jewelry.
