I mean the guy can't live forever but he was born for the part. Really does any other actor have it in them like Ford does?

I would say no to it cause it just would not be Harrison Ford. Not sure if you knew but they did want to have Tom Selick, (not sure if I have his last name spelt right) to Indiana Jones. But knowing the movie bussiness they sometimes get kind of desperate and like to make movies that should be left alone.

yes. If they can do it with James Bond then I think they can do it with Indiana Jones. I just hope it doesn't take the 30 years to finally get an actor who can pull it of as well as he does. like they did for the James Bond fims.
I mean that everybody loved Sean Connery and after him they got Roger Moore who in my opinion made a complete mockery of the franchise. Pierce was close in topping Connery but after GoldenEye the writing kind of went down which made his last film as Bond (Die Another Day) really cheesy. But I love Daniel Craig who i think portays the charecter a lot like Connery did. But it took them 30+ years to finally get it right.
Anyway back on ur question I think that Shia Lebouf wouldn't be to bad if they did decide to continue the franchise without Harrison Ford

You could never have an Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford. What didn't you know Harrison Ford is immortal. Actors buy immortality on E-Bay for cheep. He is making another movie and he is still ruggedly sexy. Yea my hero is back!

They'd have to make it "Indiana, Junior" and phase in a younger man as his son. Or, if you can't believe he had a son, let him make a movie like Obi-Wan Kenobi, and train his apprentice to take over.

But I hated it when James Bond was done by all different actors. And Sherlock Holmes.

that isn't the question. Since he and his father both drank from the grail, can there be a last Indiana Jones movie without Sean Connery?

No there couldn't. They may try a pre-qual and have a young Indiana Jones, but they already did a tv show like that with Sean Patrick Flannery and it didn't last.

of course. the James Bond franchise proves it. it's never the actor, but the character. any good actor should be able to helm the part.
