Er, no actually those murderers you mentioned above, the wests, brady and hindley, were actually judged after sufficient evidence was made against them. We formed our image of them after we had concrete evidence on which to build an image of their character. I think you are jumping the gun and have fallen into the "answers" trap of claiming someone "the best", "the worst". Why does it matter right now? Judge when you have heard the real evidence, then you can come on here and ask us. To jump to conclusions is a very foolish thing to do. Just because in the eyes of the Portugeuse police, they are suspects, does that mean they did it? Maybe the police think they have real evidence, but this is the same police force who failed miserably to preserve a crime scene. They leaked information to the media, and have not conducted their investigation in the proper way. Just because dna may have been found in the mccann's hire car, does it mean that the dead body of madeline was in there? The hire car was used after all the media went to Portugal, do you really think that the mccanns had enough time to put the body in their without anyone noticing? Contrary to most people's belief's, it is actually a quite quiet resort, how would they be able to do this??
If they are guilty then i truely hold my hands up and say that i was wrong, but until that moment they are innocent until proven guilty in my eyes, whereas most of the judgmental people already see them as guilty until proven innocent, which just isn't right.

Guilty of what exactly? Murder, NO! Man-slaughter, I Doubt it!
The worst British pairing in History up to now are Hindley & Brady.
Together, Brady and Hindley took part in the abduction, sexual abuse, torture, and murder of three children, aged 10-12, and two adolescents, aged 16 and 17. There could have been more but that's the 'provable' cases!
That not bad enough for you!
The worst single 'Killer' in UK History is, and I hope will remain, Harold Shipley! That guy was pure 'evil'

I have been watching and wondering since this whole thing started and to be honest don't want to make any assumptions. There will be people who totally disagree with the theory that the McCanns murdered their own child and still believe that she was taken by sick kidnappers, and others who maybe think that this whole thing will unfold into some grizzly cover up of an innocent child that has been killed by her apparent loving and devoted parents.
Nobody really knows the truth, so lets all hope that this case is resolved one way or another so we can all stop wondering.

Can I just point out... Ian Brady and Myra Hindley. Different surnames. They were not the Hindleys.
Anyway, the worst British pair judging solely on how much misery they have wrought have to be Richard and Judy

IF they turn out to be guilty of anything I don;t think that would put them in the same league as the two you have already mentioned. Also what about the Aunt and her partner who were responsible for the death of Victoria Climbi and that couple who were in the news last week for the death of his baby.
