I remember watching this movie on cable once back in the 90s. And I have no clue what the name of it was. All I can remember is that it was about 4 or 5 siblings stuck in a attic and a nun or someone wouldn't give them much food and was really mean and wouldn't let them come down. I remember the kids had swings in the attic, and that one of the younger sisters got really sick. The mother was clueless about the situation or something? And if i remember correctly one of the kids finally got out of the attic and went and found her. I never got to see the ending. Though I only remember bits and pieces of the movie, I think it could have been a lifetime movie or something? But have no clue, I appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks.

Sounds like Flowers in the Attic but I reccomend this far superior film on the same subject from Japan called "Nobody Knows" it is heartbreaking and unflinchingly honest.
