First, let's assume Larry Craig is gay. But he voted against gay marriage, you say? Of course he did... he had to, because his constituents are stauchly against it. Idaho is one of the most conservative states in the country. Any gay person representing conservative Americans will have to vote against gay marriage. IMO, I think it was right for him to vote against it, because he has to put his constituents ahead of his personal sexual orientation. However, either way, if he is gay, his career is over, becuase Idaho will not re-elect him to any office ever again. Period!
Now, let's assume that he isn't gay, and that he was indeed innocent of the crime commited. Well, if he reverses his plea successfully, and is found innocent, then it is time to bring perjury charges against him, for entering a false plea! So, with the new perjury charges, that should end his career. But, even if he escapes that...

... is he really stupid enough to think that he could just plea guilty in a gay sex sting and expect it to blow over??? Is he stupid enough to think that the Dems and the liberal media wouldn't have an absolute field day at his expense??? If that's the case, then he's still too stupid to be a US Senator.
And why on earth would he do anything that represents legal harm to himself without the representation of a lawyer???
And, did he really think he could resign from office and then say, "Psych... just kidding!"???
This guy is too dense to ever serve in the senate again, and I'm betting that Idaho vehemently votes against him in the next election.
