Why in this day and age would any respectable female wear these clothes and accessories thereby associating themselves with the soft porn industry? I know otherwise very pleasant women who buy this stuff and they don't understand why I find it tacky.

I say this even though my idea of a nice evening outfit is a black PVC dress with tartan frills, fishnets and big New Rock boots. Bit of a hypocrite really.

I definaltley find it tacky especially when its the fake sort (the one with the obvious wonky ear) but admitley I have a playboy bikini but it just looks like white polka dots x I also hate the section in the Argos catolouge my 13 year old cousin loves it because its pink but I dont think they really understand x

Somehow, to me, "Playboy" and "clothing" seem seem to be oxymornons. It's bad enough that the current trend for girls is to be half naked, and to use their butts as billboards (i.e., Pink), but this is just horrible. Wit the way things seem to be going, I might have to learn to sew my daughter's clothes. (I returned an Elmo shirt and pants outfit, which was a baby gift, becuase "Elmo" was on the seat of the pants. NO WAY am I going to let my duaghter's butt be a billboard and to have attention drawn to it. It will get enough attention with dirty diapers.) Yep. She's not even born yet, and I'm thinking ahead.
However, I think your key phrase is "respectable female". I don't know why any respectable female would want to pose for Playboy. Again, though, it's an oxymoron.

i respect your oppion on how it can be tack but then so can a PVC outfit which many men associate with sex and raunchiness i think if people are comfortable in what they are wearing then people should not judge them.. Many people think that just because U r wearing something that associates with sex your up for it but it just makes u feel comfortable... I am big fan of Playboy and overeathing it represents the fact that woman can show of their bodies and feel comfortable in themselves without all the hardcore stuff then so be it.. But if you would prefer to walk around in PVC so be it its your choice no1 Else's

You know, I'm no prude but I find the Playboy stuff to be really tacky. I bet half the women who buy it have no idea what Playboy is all about.
And worse, I've seen kids in shops (and I'm talking 10 and under girls here) cooing over some Playboy paraphernalia...ewww, it made me sick!

I'am not keen on playboy fashions either. But we cant call other people who wear it or have items in there house, at least we are all different and individuals wouldn't it be horrible if everybody wore the same clothes and had no identity, I just do not agree with playboy products being aimed at little girls

i agree totally! by buying it your supporting the stupidity of the whole playboy idea. plus the stuff is so tacky and chavvy, if you want to look like a prostitute or a tart then yeah, go for it!!

Its becasue the ''cool'' people started waering it so everyone started to buy it.. just a trend thing..Although alot of is is tacky..some of the jewlery is nice :D
