I dont think you can 'learn to love' someone as such, although I do believe that love can grow with time. They sound very similar, but the word 'learn' gives the impression that your trying to love someone and bring those feelings about, and love cannot be forced. However, you will probably experience stronger feelings towards the person as thats just what happens when you get closer to someone, but this isnt necessarily love. However, I do think that love can just spring up on you as it were. How many times have you heard of people being mates with someone for years and years and one day they realise that that person is the one person that they love more than anyone else in the world? That love grew over time, but they didnt learn to love that person. So no, in short, I dont believe you can learn to love someone.

my mate had an arranged marriage and his wife is possibly one of the ugliest women I've seen. He met her once before they got married and then she was flown over from Pakistan for the wedding. He seems quite happy!!
Personally speaking, I have learnt not to love my ex partner lol. I think you can put up with people though, if you try hard enough!!!

I did. I wasn't into this guy at all at first and then I fell in love with him and he broke my heart. I haven't been the same since. I think this really depends on the two people involved. Each situation is unique.

No. The more I learn about someone, the more I learn to dislike that person.

I have done it without realizing it, Me and her used to make fun of each other everyday. She'd call me a F*g and I'd call her a midget Wh*re ( she's kinda short). And somehow we started to talk more and hanging out more. Now she's my girlfriend, Isn't funny how things just turn out sometimes?

Not really....It's just the more you are around them you get used to them and learn more about them....The man I'm so in love with now....I couldn't stand him for 6 years....Then I came to talk to his brother one day....He came in and we were all talking...And I realized...I like this guy...I really really like this guy.....That's why I don't judge anyone anymore....We wasted 6 years cause I thought something of him that wasn't even true.....But I got him now and we are engaged to married New Years Eve.....

Yes,if you're talking non-romantic,like attachment to a person you didn't initially like and who then became a very close friend. But romantic love? No way. it's there or it isn't.

Depends. Given enough alone time with someone, you either end up loving them or hating them.
