During puberty, sweat glands are more active.....it's ok don't worry about it, it should lessen as you get older. Have a shower everyday, maybe even twice.....and carry deodorant around with you.

Overactive sweat glands could be the cause. Talk to your doctor about it and he will be able to diagnose the reason and give you several options. Also-I worked in plastic surgery clinic for a year and we injected Botox in the underarms for some people and that stops sweating for a period of time.

Good Luck!

You really need to go and see your doctor. Don't be embarrassed because he/she will have seen it all before. I watched a program on the telly called 'embarrassing illnesses' and there was a girl who had a problem with sweating and they gave her some sort of injection under her arms that really helped the problem. I don't know what the injection was but I'm sure your doctor will.
Good luck.

I used to have to change shirts three times a day. I heard about an experimental treatment offered by hospitals involving the use of saltwater and mild electric current. It cost a lot of money.

I devised my own therapy. I wrapped a "D" cell battery in a washcloth and dipped it into a very strong solution of saltwater. I placed the battery wrapped in the wet cloth under my armpits for 40 minutes while I watched TV... End of problem. I did it every few weeks but the problem went away completely after awhile.

This is called hyperhidrosis & you should be checked by a doctor who will test your hormones, thyroid etc.
If there is no obvious cause, you may have just been born with it. In which case you could try things like antiperspirant, botox,or possibly betablockers.Theres a new electronic device that targets feet ,hands & underarms.Surgery is a possible option but this is not without its dangers.
