What do you think of Sarah Silverman's comments about Britney's kids?

I heard that she said something about Britney's kids were mistakes or something like that.

And it wouldn't be a total surprise. Sarah Silverman made that infamous comment about Paris Hilton right before she went to jail.

I thought it was kinda mean-spirited. Talk about Britney, not the kids.

I heard that is why Britney's performance was horrible. Because she overheard Sarah preparing her routine during rehearsals. And that is why she didn't want to do the show.

Sarah Silverman's comments were tasteless. She is supposed to be a comedian but that was not funny picking on 2 young children on national television. I heard Britney overheard Sarah's comments at the dress rehearsal and told MTV she would not perform if Sarah made those comments. MTV assured her Sarah would not say that in the live show. However, Sarah defied MTV's wishes and said it anyway. Yes, I think it would be great if Britney had came back onstage and kicked Sarah's *** but then again she would be in more trouble. Hopefully, this will be Sarah's last hosting gig. She is the worst mistake MTV has made on choosing hosts!!

Sarah Silverman was NOT at all funny. It's so LOW of her to poke fun of Britney's kids to try to be funny. Leave the innocent babies alone! Bad enough that everyone is picking on Britney's everymove...All the paparazzis, all the tabloids....how can she breathe?.she's only human...nobody is perfect! Why hurt her more with comments on her kids?? Silverman should get a SLAP on her face. She's freakin' annoying!! It's ppl like Silverman that put Britney into depression...the reason why she wants to get drunk so she doesn't have to think about the hurt in her life. I totally feel that Silverman's statement was way out of control. MTV musdic awards were the worst i've ever seen. did they throw it together at the last minute.They exploited Britney just to get there ratings up. the world has boiled down to garbage television shows... like the 2007 BET awards.... talentless singers.... bubble gum rap artists and ugly talentless brainless white chicks who aren't funny. Silverman said that Britney has accomplished all she ever will.... Sarah silverman so have you. accomplished all you will ever. when you don't have beauty or brains comedy is a last resort and when your not funny your next option is to be a *****.

I'm not understanding all the bashing of britney. SHES JUST ANOTHER HUMAN BEING.
Some of you are caught up in thinking that celebrities are superheros. THey have too look skinny and beautiful, they can't let their lives get outta hand or we start bashing them. Think about the ppl you know or have met. I bet most of them have been in worse situations then Britney. She had a mental breakdown. OK, how many ppl do you know with depression. Same damn thing.
You also need to remember how young Britney was when she entered the spotlight. She never finished growing up. Now she's got two kids, and the years are gone. It hit her hard, and she had some making up to do.
If i heard someone talking about my kids and such they way Sarah did, i prolly woudln't have gone onstage. To know what was going to come after.... no thanks

FYI...True Fact:...Silverman received national exposure after earning a role on the 1993–94 season of Saturday Night Live. She was a writer and featured player at the time, but was fired after one season because she wrote only one sketch that survived to dress rehearsal, with none ever airing. Silverman claims being fired by SNL in an undignified manner (via fax), upset her greatly.

"She's too busy throwing stones and joking on others. Don't think she'd like anyone reminding her that she was terminated via fax!"

Sarah Silverman should leave the TV world and just pursue a family with her boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel.

I just can't immagine them having children, cause their kids would be just the "most precious mistakes"

I have never been offended by any comedianne in my entire life, and she wasn't even talking about me or my children personally.

PS. To all of the commentators that's showing support to what she said at the VMA's last night.....talk to me when you have your own children so i can tell you how your kids are the most precious MISTAKES!

well i mean, that was a little too much, but if you think about it, she really didnt say anything that wasnt true.... and the fact that britney totally bombed has nothing to do with sarah silverman..... i think she would have sucked regardless. it was her time to prove to everyone that she still had it and that she wasnt a scewup and like everybody said... and what did she do? prove everyone right, she's a mess. i think shes gonna try to hold on to sarahs comments as an excuse to her horrible performance though

Sarah's comments where pretty hard, but then again, that's her style of comedy.

As far as Britney's reason for a poor performance, I don't buy her excuse. It's exactly just that, an excuse to cover for a bad performance. If she was really outraged she would have just not performed at all.
