If I did... would I even remember doing so??
...why would I want to reduce myself to a "blank slate" and have to learn how to walk, talk, or potty-train myself again?? That's just a ridiculous inconvenience.
(Now if you're asking about some magic pill which would erase a SINGLE memory... yes, probably would take away the memory of some of beatings I received as a child).

No, because I would lose good memories that I cherish!! If I lose my bad memories than I won't remember the bad things that I've gone through in the past and wouldn't remember the pain that they caused and I would probably end up doing them again. I try to learn from my mistakes so that I won't repeat them!!

Our memory is there to help us not make the same mistakes over and over again. It also helps us to not do some stuff that others do by seeing how stupid they were for doing them. No I would not erase my memory.

I couldnt. I've had some truely abominable things happen in my life, but those experiences make me who I am. All we are, and all we have are our memories. To erase them would be to amputate a huge part of ourselves, and make all the sacrifices we've made to get to where we are mean nothing.

No,why should I? I've had a lot of bad things in my life but I've learned from my mistakes and tragedies,and most of my life has been pretty good. I'm very grateful for it. Every minute.

I don't need it my memory is so messed up it isn't funny now if they had one that helped you remember I'd definitely take that .
