The clubs in Birmingham plar JAZZ,RB,Urban,POP,Rock,Country and any thing else you can think of.
Larger entertainment venues have the larger names in music from A to Z.

Pretty strong music scene. Birmingham's a really good alternative rock town, has one of the top ten jazz clubs in the country, has a very strong classical music presence, has several excellent music festivals representing all areas of music from soul and rap to classical. Lots of different performing artists, a ton of nightclubs and venues. Oddly enough, country doesn't seem too big here for live music.
