I personally am happy for her but i think that she will still have the same problems with this boyfriend that she had with her past husbands she's the common denominator in all these relationships i think that she made herself look desperate which is sad cuz she seems to always be looking for love getting a white boyfriend isn't going to change her problems though i hope she doesn't do like some blacks who have mixed kids and surround their children with only white culture and then they learn very little of their black culture and try to identify more with whites. well, when i read about it, i thought, damn. she's lucky. first off, she's like the most gorgeous woman alive. second, she has an incredibly successful career. third, she got to live her whole life for herself and accomplish everything she wanted in life, and now she's moving onto the next phase, starting a family. how lucky is that that she got pregnant at all at her age? and her new boyfriend seems nice. maybe he won't be a jerk like the ones in her past. even if he is, she still ends up with her baby, which is what she really seems to want. as far as the cultural thing, you have to rememner, halle berry was raised solely by her white mother. her black father wasn't in the picture. that will surely have some impact on the way she raises her children, you impart what you know. that said, i think she does identify herself as a black woman and will probably make an effort to expose her children to both cultures that they inherited. remember she is mixed. but i am sure she will honor both of her heritages. especially since she is such a role model and so many black women probably see her as a symbol of what they can accomplish regardless of race. either way, i am totally happy for her and hope she has an easy pregnancy and a healthy baby! you KNOW it will be a gorgeous baby with those parents!

You do know that Halle is Bi-racial right? But she also identifies with being a black woman, and just because her boyfriend is white what does that have to be with her FINALLY being happy! Hell good for her....Eric Benet is black and he wasnt about anything......Derek Jeeter is black and he wasnt about anything, color has nothing to do with if you are just not a decent person, and those men were just not decent! I am happy for her and I hope that she is happy with herself!!

Not real sure if I agree, but the lord has finally given her his blessing to bear child and I wish her the best. I pray that this new boyfriend makes an "honest woman" out of her ( marries her) and is a good father. But most importantly that he is good for her spiritual and mental health.

I would be a little concerned about her having a baby at her age. For the most part, I really don't care. She has a lot of money so she's better off than a lot of people

I'm happy for her as a person, but otherwise could care less. I'm much more interested in people that I actually know and can talk to.

she felt like downsizing by getting with the white dude. she couldnt afford the premiums and property tax on the brothers so she downsized. as for her kid ? she has earned the right to have one. she is 41 and her ovaries are fast drying up and she is very rich. she has devoted her productive time to her career. now its time for mama to enjoy her baby

Hmmm, she's pregnant. Good for her. She may be 41, but she's in fantastic shape. Although she does have diabetes, that is my only concern.
