I love both.

"Waking Life" was a masterpiece...funny and thoughtful and incredibly animated.

"City of God" is genius...a powerful, hard-hitting story told in a totally original style.

I thought City of God was amazing. I got so involved in the story line that it was hard to believe this was based on a true story. I thought the story was portrayed amazing, and I really enjoyed the cinematography.

Waking Lives, however, was not captivating enough to hold my attention. I couldn't get into it, even though I have heard amazing reviews about the movie.

City of God was the last great film I saw, it was an amazing story. I liked the editing/storytelling style, the narrator (Rocket)'s story was an incredible one.... Waking Life I thought was pretty pretentious, but the animation was imaginative and the main character was very likable.
