Tomorrow I'll be doing school.I was 7 years old then and we were a half hour away from NYC homeschooling in our house in NJ.My oldest bro called from his collage in PA and asked if we were OK.He would not tell us what was going on but he only said "Pray for our country!".10 minuets later out of state friends called and asked if we were OK and they finally broke the news.Mom was in complete shock and I was scared. She brought us 3 kids down into the family room and we all prayed.I was so scared. We could see the smoke from the towers pass by our door,no joke.
Mom thought our water ways or something like that were being attacked so we took big bins from the basement and filled them with water from the tub.Aside from that I cant remember much.A customer that my dad worked for in our town had died in the towers leaving his twins,a girl and his wife.
We have just moved to the other part of the country and This year will be the first year that we are not going to the city for September 11th.Still what I remember that day will always live in my mind.It has still effected me today.
May America never forget about this.

I'm leaving in a few minutes to buy some little flags... about 50... to put in the flower beds in front of the house. I'll leave them there for a month un til 10/11.

Six years ago, I was writing the daily assignment on the board ( I'm a teacher). The teacher next door walked in. He was white as a sheet and couldn't talk. Finally, he pointed to the TV. I turned it on and saw the horror.

The kids and I watched some of the most horrific events unfold all day and discussed it as we watched. Many parents came and picked their children up. While it was horrible, these were teen agers. Just like many people will never forget where they were when Kennedy was shot, they will never forget where they were when this historic event occurred and how our nation changed forever.

6 years ago, I was getting ready to go to school. I remember it vividly, I had to radio on and the morning show I used to listen to plays a lot of prank jokes and they were very serious and sad taking about the towers. I had no idea what they were talking about and I ran downstairs and turned on the TV and watched the news. It was horrible and the day felt like it froze. It was just super eerie bc you knew everyone was thinking the same thing.

Tomorrow, I'll be going to work.

tomorrow i'm going to go on about my regular business like i do everyday. 6 years ago, when the towers fell, i was in high school - in 5th period chemistry class. my teacher heard the news and wheeled a big tv in the classroom. we watched as the chaos went on. we saw the towers fall and the mess and frightened people. we were in chicago, and i remember everything over here was evacuated. downtown froze for a good minute - people over here were scared and preparing themselves for an attack. i was sitting up there asking why in the hell havent we left the school yet. we had to do the whole day. i was scared, cos i have family in new york. we called to see if everyone was fine. thank God they were.

I turned the tv on and they stopped doing the Today Show and started talking about the first plane hitting the tower and then all the horror from that moment on I watched, praying over and over that it would stop, and it finally did. God must have shed a lot of tears that day over Satan's handiwork. God bless those families.

6 years ago I was in Mrs. Huntsinger's fourth grade science class when her daughter ran in screaming about the attacks. They didn't let us watch the live coverage on TV, so I didn't see the video clips until my sister had gymnastics later that day. Tomorrow I will be at a volleyball game remembering the ones who lost their lives.
