It blew harder than a framer with his index finger on one nostril and the ground below him. Personally for me MTV died the day the music died, and for me and my generation that was when Kurt Cobain killed himself because he knew it the music scene was dying. Sad really, I miss the days when MTV played music videos all the time and rock really rocked! The executives say their giving you want you want though. Personally I think they're just giving you what they want to without giving you any other options. Most people I talk to don't even know about the days when it was mostly music videos so how they demand or want what they don't know about. Boycott 'em until they bring music back as it's main focus.
If you want proof popular music is a dying art look at Britney last night and then think about this The Spice Girls are having a reunion tour...

It was a definite flop! Britney set the mode for it, too! I mean there was some good performances but she took the cake! I kind of feel sorry for her. She wanted to succeed so badly that I think she made herself nervous and became unfocused. It didn't help that Sara Silverman blasted her after her performance. I would have went out there and smacked her for talking about my kids!

It blew big donkey kong.
I watched Brittany make a fool out of herself, watched bits of Sarah Silverman blow w/bad writing during the monologue and flipped on and then right back off.
The days of VMAs are long gone unfortunately.

Flop, all MTV is. It's over the last good days of MTV died when Carson Daliy was hired, it's been downhill FAST ever since. I"m not blaming him directly I'm just giving the time line.

chris brown took the show with his dancing! but other than that the VMAs was a drag

Compared to previous years. I thought it was more of a flop.

Worst, Britney. although the rest have been terrible too. best? Alicia Keys. i think of she grow to be the sole one that no longer purely did no longer lip-sync, yet additionally sang amazingly. the the remainder of them sucked.

it SUCKED!! i was all exited to see Britney spears perform an that really sucked so i immediately changed the channel since it was really boring. Britney's comeback what happen to her. well i guess she just doesn't care what people think about her

I think that i didn't like it because some of the celebreties were in their after party and some were singing.
