Pinnochio was a fantastic animation but I also loved Robin Williams performance in Aladdin (there was a great Megadrive game of that too). Although I haven't seen Beauty and the beast right through the animation looks fantastic- the Phantom Manor ride at Disneyland Paris is like a mix of Beauty and the beast and The Phantom of the opera.

Overall, though, I think that I most like Mary Poppins, a combination of live action and animation. The actor who played George Banks, David Tomlinson, was also in several other Disney films (always playing a similarly upright yet melancholy character)- he was a fine actor and the scene where he is fired from the bank never fails to move me.

'Cars' is my favourite Disney Pixar movie.

Crimson Tide was awesome... of course most people don't know Disney own other film studios so I'll stick to "Disney" movies... I'd have to say that Fantasia was the best thing the studio ever put out. Revolutionary and visionary, I never get tired of watching it.

Toy Story. A classic.

It had everything, pathos, humour, action, adventure. It had a beginning a middle and an ending. The characters went through a journey emotionally, mentally and physically and came out the other side all the better for it. What a film.

And then there's the ground breaking animation itself.

I loved Beauty and the Beast when I was younger, but I apprieciate it even more now. The art for it's time was amazing too. Just look at the ballroom scene! Those were state of the art computer graphics back then and they still look great.

Traditional animation...oh how I miss it.
