Americans put more emphasis on anniversary dates than terrorists do.
For that reason, I have found some great vacation deals on the 9/11 date. Last year my husband and I took a 6 day cruise for about $200 a piece. That was with the port charges and everything. Many people are afraid to travel on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and so therefore reservations are always down on that date. But that does leave the door open for some great deals if you want them.

Oh this one caught me! I just got home from working a 12 hour day. Since I am on salary, there is no overtime. I make $520 a week gross, which after taxes, 401K and insurance for myself and my children, leaves me with about $340 a week. I am a warehouse manager, which means I do all the shipping and receiving, throw around boxes weighing 30-70 lbs, do all the inventory control, and if the customer service is short handed I take customer calls as well. I also run a forklift and make last minute deliveries when it is necessary. If I work a straight forty hour week, I would be making $12.75 an hour. In three years I have not worked less than 50 hours a week. If I am lucky I manage to take a lunch once a week. I don't think my wages are even close to being equal to the work I do, however I have a nice work environment. It is clean, quiet (except when we have music blaring), well lit, and generally pleasant. For me this is the trade off, I could get paid more at another company but so many of them are filthy, loud, dark prisons for the workers so I take less money.

I would say about equal.
We don't have the same passenagers getting on planes or crews prior to 9/11.
Fear can't be used against them any more.
No one has been able to get to the cockpit door without be stop by the crew or the passenagers.
Flight 93 ended the attack on 9/11 before our government even knew what hit em.
The shoe bomber was ah lets say put under control by the crew and passenagers before he could do his damage.
Walk on to a plane and watch the difference it is like "Go ahead make my day"
I do hope this is helpful.

Well I don't have anything official but I think its going to be either high or low.
It maybe high because lost of people want to "prove" that America is still strong and can't be broken. So they are going take a couple flights to say "hey we're still here...You can't break us!"
It maybe low as well because lots of people would want that doay to be a remembrance day for the victims and they'd rather not fly. Plus there are others who know that history usually repeats itself often on the same day so they're fearful.
I think overall it will be lower! =D

I'm guessing because of the strictness of the security on that date they will only have time to process a few dozen passengers anyway.
No I don't but good question. Just have a look on some of the flight websites there's still time

I think people will probably be flying less for the fact that it is 9/11 AND a Tuesday again..just too superstitious.

No,I doubt it. I haven't heard anything and the media would make much of it if that were the case. If not,it's surprising in view of the bin Laden tape.
