so that you can claim there's a reduction of it in Iraq? Is the report that Petraeus will give to Congress misleading to the point of criminality?

How they've changed the definition of violence in the surge report:

- The Los Angeles Times reports that people killed in car bombings don't count.
- The Washington Post reports that victims shot in the face don't count.
- The Center for Strategic and International Studies reports that Shi'a vs. Shi'a and Sunni vs. Sunni violence doesn't count.

Your using the LA Times and Washington Posts as references. I don't believe the definition of violence has changed and if you can point to credible sources that say it has that would be great........

It's obvious that Bush's troop surge IS WORKING..but everyone is so busy trying to put him down, that nobody wantes to give him any credit. People wanted less violence in Iraq, Bush did something to help lessen the violence and people are still not pleased.. Give the man a break!

geeezzz, can't win with you guys... you say wait for the report from the generals on the ground, now you wanna say that it will be filled with lies and deceit and should be taken with a grain of salt... listen... the people in charge of our military know what they're talking about... i'd rather believe petraeus than some stupid politician that spent a few weeks at some fortified hotel or an article done by a paper with their own agendas... those sources you provide are notoriously leaning to the left... so i could easily say that what they report is misleading... see how it can go both ways?? i can think of a dozen articles off the top of my head right now that is contrary to what the washington post and company are supposedly reporting...

If this kind of smoke and mirrors is what is needed to put a good spin on the report, how can we ever believe what the Bush Administration has to say about the Iraq war?

New definition of the word VIOLENCE (now to be spelled VIOLINS):

VIOLINS: The act of forcing people to step on boards with nails in them; Do not see Iraq

It's more valid than liberals redefining the word traitor in hopes they will not be recognized as such.

Since we do not have anything to do with car bombings, and I do not know what you are saying about our soldiers deliberately shooting civilians in the face. Give me a break.
