Getting ready to use our fireplace. We don't get to do that often down here. But when it does get cold I really pour on the wood. I love the smell. Oh yes and the smell of burning leaves( I live in the country) around our area. Seems like spring and fall have wonderful scents.

For me that would be the change of season as the summer time is way too hot. Then of course this time of year signifies that the holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are pretty close by. And of course my birthday is during this season. This month to be exact. Oh and one more thing it's football season!!!!!!! And the baseball postseason is here coming up as well.

This is a bittersweet time of year for me - it is beautiful, the air is crisp and the sky a clear blue - but a sad time for some inexplicable reason. Winter is coming, memories playing in my mind...

The leaves are starting to turn, and I just saw pumpkins for sale at a roadside stand this morning. I love the cool crisp autum air.

My favorite thing about this time of year is having baseball season and football season going on at the same time.

Children go back to school & the streets are quieter and some kind of football is on TV 4 nights a week!!!!!

commencement!! :) because of the fact I hate extreme college and that i can't wait to set my very own time table and how many situations a week i prefer to take classes. Least widespread: My college. It sucks. And Im happy Im very almost out of there!
