I am quite sure being salary that you would be exempt. That is usually the case so they are not required to pay you overtime. Good luck!

Most definitely exempt. If you can avoid it, do so. All "exempt" really means is you can work as many hours above 40 as you umm, want (?) and not get paid any extra. Think hard.

My mother is going through the same problem right now. If you were hired in, and that is what they demanded, than yest you have to take it, but if you weren't its your choice, don't get me wrong they can get rid of you, saying you didn't want to do what the company asked. Good Luck!
