I am a 27 year old female, living in Florida. Have not landed a job in four months, market pretty bad. Have a BA in Communication. Interests are in the arts, but no experience, only experience is in real property and law. Decided to go back to school, however, want to attend an out of state school. Thinking about Alexandria, VA area, visited there some time ago, and thought it was a wonderful city. Can not decide whether to get a masters in law (based on my professional work experience), or psychology (based on friends opinions). I have a passion for theatre, singing, beauty, style, etc. But while in school, figured that would get me no where, so took a professional route of Organizational Communication (which means absolutely nothing in corporate America). Does anyone have any opinion, advice, suggestions as to what I should major in for my Masters degree, seeing as my professional work experience is in real property and law, but my true passion lies in the arts. Please help.

Go for what you know best and have theater as a hobby. I would lean more toward law as that is where you have experience. Going with a friend's opinion could make you resent that friend in the long run... Good luck!!

Have you had the opportunity to visit any of these schools or areas to see if you like the programs?

For law- it's a 3 year degree (if you go full-time). You will get a J.D. Then, you have to study and pass the bar.

For psychology- I know you go for 2 years (full time) for the Masters. I think the advanced coursework involves clinical work and writing a Master's Thesis.

Jobs vary depending upon what areas you want to specialize in (Law and Psychology included).

You may want to check into the requirements before jumping into the fray so to speak.

You are still very young and opportunities will open for you -- hopefully with an advanced degree.

Good luck.

of direction we would possibly not reply with terrible phrases -simply recognise that you're now not on my own. The key to area is consistency - not more spankings. Designate an field on your residence to be the naughty nook or chair or sofa or something it's you wish her to be. ALWAYS, use the equal factor - supply her one caution. If you utilize naughty phrases with me, you are going to sit down within the naughty chair for four mins. You can set a timer so she will see how a lot more time she has. If she will get up, you prefer her up and placed her again. It might be hard till she will get the thought that you're now not going to stop. So something you do, do not stop! And take a look at very difficult to not lose your mood. I normally uncover at university that if I have a plan, I think higher approximately matters and I most often grow to be bonding with that distinctive disclipline or conduct situation baby. Nice of your husband to tel YOU to uncover an answer - this needs to be a workforce attempt with him completely helping you and him serving to out whilst he's house. Good success - I realize it's difficult, however dangle in there. She's so valued at it!

I would say Law, you meet less looneys, than psychology, just a few less!.
And if I wanted to come see you, I would have to be a little off if you were a psychologist, and a little less off, if you were a lawyer!. So definitely a lawyer!!.
