Well yes, if a man is very superficial then it;s his fault, because there's a decent chance that there hot chicks he hooks up with might be gold diggers rather than being with the one's that aren't as hot but have a good heart and personality. But there are many guys who aren;t like that and will be with who they find attractive and don't have to be hot per se, but physically attractive or good looking. But for these guys it's annoying because they could still end up with gold digging women or find out that even with the not so hot women. The alpha males I would think would be geneticallly healthier and have something with nature also being able to proovide but many times having the strength, fitness and muscle to be able to protect the woman also, thus masculine beauty I guess. But anywhoo, I guess women complain about the beauty thing, and if a man is picky than I can understand. But as far as men seeking out physically attractive women, that's just natural in general to do that.
And at least regarding that the women who are seeked are at least desired and seen as sexy because of the way they look, even though some women don;t like that or take that for granted, whereas, the man is desired because of the greens he has in his wallet or if is desired is rooted fromt that and not because of his handsomeness or sexy physique. So it's like one man's trash is another's treasure. But I think men would trade being desired physically and not being because or relation to money or because of that and then becaus of that she now likes him. And then because she likes him "now he is sexy or looks great, whcih is really default since it was those other qualities to that she cared for or desired in the firts place that like a chain reaction connected to desire.

I agree. The reason for this is because men are honest about wanting hott women. Women on the other hand claim to want things like love and a connection and chemistry. But she jumps up at the first rich guy she meets.
As a man.. I don't have a problem with women wanting men with money, I have a problem with women pretending that they don't. Just be honest..
And no.. I wouldn't date an ugly woman either.. why should I?

I'll be damned. Happy and I actually agree on something. Couldn't have said it better myself.
But yes it is the pot calling the kettle black.

A man (most men) tend to go for what is on the outside or
(At least if he has sense) someone who is decent enough
to spend the rest of your life with.
Women on the other hand seek someone who will be a
provider,so they will be somewhat cared for. Therefore if
you are a decent man with decent looks and can be seen
as a provider...the chances are you will acquire the right
mate that you seek.

Surprisingly, I agree with Snappy too. I *never* agree with Snappy.
I really wish the tables were turned. I can EASILY get a job where I can make plenty of money, but efforts at improving one's appearance can only go so far.

You are absolutely right. It is the pot calling the kettle black, but women can never be right in some men's eyes. Just like men can never be right in some women's.

But some guys like me really choose a woman based on personality. and it really hurts when that kindve guy finds out his girl only chose him because of his money or social status.
Yes there are guys who choose girls based on looks. but its inevitable that, that kindve guy is going to be emotionally attached or connected to his girl. and hes gonna wonder if she loves him for who he is or for his money or status

We can even take this one step further. How about those women who spend tons of money and effort on their appearance, with the full knowledge that they are trying to make themselves more 'marketable'. But when they are successful, and finally 'land their big fish' based upon their appearance, they are offended to think that they are only appreciated for their appearance!!

Please don't confuse evo psych with biology. And please don't write that you learn this sh!t in Soc 101, because you don't (JOHHNIE). Hmmph.
But yes, if a 60 year old man is marrying a woman half his age, what does he expect to happen? Gsus. Both the man and the woman know exactly what they're getting into, so why pretend otherwise?

I think chasing after men for purely money and chasing after women for purely looks is equally wrong and equally ill-advised.
