How many of you have reported questions and or answers to Yahoo Admin and why did you do it? Does it give you instant gratification, or what?

Figure It Is Not My Job and Most of it Makes Me Laugh Anyway !
People worried about Kids on here - Parents should be Monitoring the Internet use by a Minor ! I Do !

I have reported people before the new version went up, but I never kept track. Anytime I found spam, and there have been some beyond tolerable language & certain content, too, like blatant racism, sexism, & other vicious biases. As for why in the latter case, they should know that someone found them that objectionable. Even if they don't care.
I never reported anyone because I didn't agree with an answer--then it's just a thumbs down & on to the next question.

I have reported the porno avatar pics and I have reported a couple of answers when you could tell the question was from a child or the asker pointed out they were really young and then some nasty person types a really perverted scanky sexual answer, but I think those are justified. I don't do it to be mean, I just try to protect the kids.

Yes there are someone that gives an answer giving the middle finger I will report that, and some answers that are mean to ppl or are racist, or use genitalia as pictures I will always report these. it does not give me gratification at all.. it is just to keep ppl on here in good mood and have fun and not expose anyone young to genitialia or racist remarks..or questions . live in peace harm ye none is my philoshophy.. and of course , Viva NIF

Sure, I've reported foul language, disgusting questions, questions that I wouldn't want children to see. After all, this is supposed to be an information site, not one meant to disgust others.
Never felt any instant gratification, it was just something that needed to be done.

I have only reported 3 total questions and or answers one today, the reason I do it is because i am sick of the gross negligence the barbarism, and the blatant disrespect for others, I believe YA is a place peoples should come if they need help and people should also help the other people that need help not say ur stupid thanks for 2 pts, it makes me sick when people cannot do the simple thing the right thing give guidance to those you can help otherwise KEEP YOUR TRAP SHUT!

I've reported blatantly offensive questions. I don't do it for gratification - I consider it a necessary nuisance. I would rather answer questions, and it takes time away from that. However, sometimes I will answer the question with a flippant response, and then report it.

I've seen many that I disagree with, and do not belive thay should be in the public (with children on this site), but i've never reported any.
A little while ago I wrote this, but now I have reported and answer. I would tell you what it is but you don't want to know..

Yes, I have reported less than ten my whole time here. I did it because it was inappropriate for children to read and one time their was a pornographic pic for the avatar. I am concerned about kids, that is why I do it. If it wasn't an option, I wouldn't come back. It is nice that Y!A maintains a certain amount of dignity.

Yes i reported a question that someone had posted about having sex with a child so if people are mad then they are just as sick! If it's like that then I have no tolerance for it. But other then that If I don't like it then I don't answer that simple. If others find it funny and I don't I'm not going to ruin their fun.
