You ought to know better than to ask this question. If you are following politics then you already know that there is a lot of lieing going on in this administration. Not just lieing, but mis- information, omission of the facts, and some down right denial when questions are asked. Every bit of this is being shoved under the carpet or made to look as if ' we the people' are stupid. Ever notice how everyone just can't recall certain facts when congress presents hearings? Even when the evidence supports the issue for cause to have hearings in the first place? Show me, THE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION! Sound familiar? Everyone asks, but I've yet to hear a response. It's all politics, and now more than any time in history,- it is as corrupt as you can get, and it is O.K. with the King. Petraeus will be sequestured from telling the truth by execuitive order.

You dummy, didn't you read that press clipping yourself? The General said that things "did not work as we expected". He did not say the surge didn't work. That was the headline not the story. Omaha beach did not work out as expected. Utah beach was in the wrong place! A lot things don't work like they were expected but that does not mean that it didn't work.
In the interest of fairness and accuracy you should remove your erronous question.
