I have a D600, and had to re-format the hard drive. After I loaded all of my drivers back in, I can't seem to get my wireless to work. It still has the question mark under device manager for that network controller.

I know it has a built in mini pci card, but all of the drivers I have downloaded from dell (Intel Prolink, etc) for this machine will not work. Do I need to look for a specific driver, or should I just give up and buy another wireless adapter.

It used to work great. Also the driver for the wireless isn't on my utilities disk.

Thanks!!

I have downloaded both drives from Dell's site, one being 48mb, and the other 52 mb...and even one that was 73mb...but none seem to work.

Check the Dell site again. If the laptop is less then a year old, Dell is currently shipping them with a card they make themselves. It is usually either a Dell 1350 or a Dell 1370 Mini PCI card. Both drivers should be available on the Dell website.

I used to work for dell. on the bottom of your computer, there's a sticker that says "service tag". Email that to me at ryu98221@gmail.com and I'll send you a link to your drivers.
Note: If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's a 52mb download.
