It depends on the situation. I mean, we can't force anyone to live by our rules, and what we think is right as opposed to what they think is right. Also, it would depend on if my "help" would only make things worse. And finally, some people need to make mistakes in order to learn from them. We can not be personally responsible for everyone in the world. I would certainly do what I can, but I would have to evaluate the value of my interference, would it make things better or worse. It is a subjective judgment call on a case by case basis.

It all depends on the situation...
If it was getting someone out of an abused situation yes.. I would not hesitate for one second..
Two if it was money and they were too proud to accept.. I would try to find a way to make them feel comfortable in my charity..
I think most people would try to help another if the situation was desperate enough...
But there are times when nothing you can do will make that person see the light... nomatter how hard you try... but if I had the power I would certainly try to change that...

Only if they are in some way less than capable of making a valid personal decision and the situation was in some way materialy damaging. A child, a person with learning difficulties, a sectionable person who was in danger of harm would need this protection, anybody who has the mental capacity to know the situation and risks is entitled to make their own desicions

I would have said almost the same as Rebel..each have to make their own mistakes but in an abusive realtionship or especially with children involved I think that gentle force may be needed for the good of all. Better a loss of dignity for a short time than a loss of life forever

Not necessarily;

People's free agency is inherently vital to their individual existence and it is impossible for anyone other than the person experiencing whatever the situation is to judge any situation beneficial or not. People learn from both negative and positive.

It's All Good.

Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You

No, I wouldn't. Everyone needs to make their own decisions in life, and to take someone out against their will would be playing the control freak.

Just be there for them when they fall.

No, really loving someone means allowing them the dignity of suffering their own consequences, attempting to interfere rarely if ever turns out good...
