Given that Britney Spears lip synched last night on the VMA Awards, and poorly at that, don't you think these awards shows should require everyone to do the song live?
So what if she can't dance as much when she's singing live. She didn't dance well last night, anyway.

Yep! Having real talent means that one can perform live without the help of a backup track. Britney needs to retire or take a long hiatus and get her life back together. She's a mess.

I think that's a great idea. That performance NEVER should have been on TV. If I was the producer and saw that dreadful thing in rehearsals, I would have told her NO WAY and put someone else in her place. What a disgrace to those that DO sing and have well choreographed shows.

I think they should sing live. It is much better. I was disappointed in Britney's performance. She acted like she didn't want to be there. She didn't do very well. I don't know what was up with her.
