seems like the generation will "learn" that the events of 911 happend in such and such a way. As time goes forward this will come to be the reality. In 30 years the idea of 911 will have happend as it was told in history books. The reality will thus be embedded as fitction and lie rather than truth.

Truth will eventually fade and the stated fable of 911 will be the assuemd truth. pretty amazing.

Lets keep TRUTH alive and perhaps the truth will sruface before it gets lost.

OMG..
I know, the truth needs to be shown on TV, taught in schools or however else we can get the message out..
I watch this show on Discovery (I think) about these wack jobs that think that 911 was done by our government.
I wanted to turn it off, but it was kinda funny, but then it was scaring me that people really think this.
Very passionate and nearly fanatical about this "truth". Willing to disregard engineering details, eye-witness accounts, video, logs, records, etc. Just to.... well I'm not sure what their agenda is. I guess it's to get better meds when they are locked up in the loony bin.

I'm no longer in high school so I can't give you a full report of what textbooks currently say about 9/11.

But the textbooks are only so big. Many facts are left out and stories are changed, one way or another, so kids of today basically only know that something happened on a certain day, or in a certain year.

It's not necessarily for kids to know all the facts about an event in history- they can ask an adult who has lived through the event for their own story. If they're that interested, they can check a book out of the library which would have more details of the event in question.

Sadly, the US history books seem to be more interested in repetition of events that happened before any of us were born, than in delving for more detail, into events which have happened during our lifetimes.

My experience with high school history books is that there will probably be a paragraph or maybe a page or two on it. They will keep it simple and discuss the events in a neutral manner. Those kids won't be caught up in the emotion adults are today. Just like pearl harbor was discussed when I was in school. My parents were emotional about it. I hadn't been born yet and took a more neurtral approach to the subject.

Well, it sort of feels like you will have obtained 2 offerings: a million. Answer the questions making use of the knowledge from the textbook, get a well grade, and feature a responsible sense of right and wrong. two. Answer the questions making use of knowledge you discovered at church otherwise wherein, get a nasty grade, and feature a transparent sense of right and wrong. If you don't forget from prior classes for your colleges categories, so much textual content books paint the Catholic Church and Islam in an excessively dangerous mild, however Catholics/Muslims might get marked down for answering questions making use of what they believed rather of what was once within the textual content. With Mormonism as good, the textual content booklet is an intruder's view of your faith and would possibly not say stuff like "Joseph Smith is a prophet", "The Book of Mormon is correct", and so on. I can realize why you might be disillusioned via this, however regularly you simply ought to cross in conjunction with stuff like this in an effort to get a passing grade.
