I was following Boise State's football team, but, are they really a good football team? They don't play in a great division, and they just got knocked out of the top 25. Is there undefeated season a fluke?

With Jared Zabransky, Jerard Rabb and other key seniors graduated, this isn't the team you are judging from last year. That team deserved a championship shot.
This year's Broncos are good but not great. If you want an upstart team, many predicted Washington to possibly start 0-6, yet thanks to this upset the Huskies are 2-0.

Boise State is a good program. The win against OU last year was not a fluke. They may have used a trick play or two to finish the game and get the win. But they played toe to toe with OU for most of the game. It was no fluke that they were up 28-10 in the 3rd.
They're not the same team as they were last year but they replaced lost talent with fresh talent. They'll get it together and be a strong force for years to come.

I wouldn't say it's a fluke.
Boise had pretty much dominated the WAC this decade and had been posting 10-11 win seasons before last year.
The loss at UW stings for them, I'm sure, but BSU is still a solid program.

No in that what happened last year is history and this year is a different story. You really didn't expect them to go undefeated two years in a row did you.

only reason they beat OU last year is gimmick plays and OU's lack of discipline on defense.
