Well as a Christian, yes I believe some if not most of them were, but I know there were survivors. Later than Noah's ark, in the book of Job, a creature called the leviathan was mentioned. It roamed in the sea, driving sailors mad by the mere sight of it, apparently. That seems much like a dinosaur. I believe the last ones died out some time a couple thousand years ago, but before Jesus was born, so now all traces of them are gone.

there was a meteor that hit earth which caused the rising of lots of dust and gases, which in turn caused the earth to cool down (because sunlight couldn't get in), which is known as the ice age, and that's what killed the dinosaurs. there aren't even hard scientific evidence noah's arc existed. The epic of Gilgamesh also mentions a great flood, which happened before the time Noah supposedly built an arc.

I don't believe they were killed in the flood. However, the Bible in Genesis does say that great monsters roamed the Earth. I think the dinosaurs do qualify. :)

It's possible that the surviving remnants were killed off. The dinosaurs were supposedly millions of years old.

For Christians who believe in the Bible, we believe the earth was created in seven days. This, however, does not mean seven twenty-four hour time periods, that's certainly seems impossible, though for God, nothing is impossible.

The Hebrew word that was translated into day in the Gutenberg Bible (the original English translation from Hebrew) actually means "period of time". The earth was created in seven periods of time. How long these periods were, we have no idea. Scientific data suggests they are very long periods of time.
God is a God of miracles, but He is also a God of order. He does things right, according to universal laws. For him to fill the earth with species, and ready for people, would certainly take more than a week, at least to my limited mortal mind.

Back to the creation. For the earth to sustain plant and late r animal life, it would need to be infused with organic material. It is my personal belief that prehistoric plants and life provided the foundation for present flora and fauna. That's not to say I don't believe in a Biblical creation - I just believe in a God of order who would allow things to naturally take their course rather than causing them to appear as if by magic.

It's no wonder He would need one thousand years' rest.
