Have you got yourself checked out? Do you know why you have irregular periods, and spotting?
Normally irregular bleeding and spotting is normal, but also it can mean there's a problem.
I have been investigated for this and I have always had irregular periods, but spotting started after I came off the pill.
I found out that I had an infection.
I would say see your dr first to rule anything out and then ask for advice on ttc.

Yes you can still have periods or spotting while pregnant. Best bet is to take a home test or go see a doctor:) A friend of mine had spotting throughout her entire pregnancy - drag.

# 4 was concieved at the tail end of my period. Go figure! I've also had irregular periods since I began menstrating. Have you tried a fertility monitor yet? Also, it helps to be on a well-balanced diet, no smoking, and alcohol in moderation. Stress is also a MAJOR factor in the inability to concieve.

Have you tried tracking your cyles by taking your temperature before you get out of bed and at the same time every morning. There is a good book by a lady called Toni Walsh ( i think that is her name) the book is called taking charge of your fertility it explains all about tracking your cycles. Your temperature will rise if you are ovulating.I hope this helps.
