With my first pregnancy I had a period the first month,so I had no idea until I finally tested at 5 weeks!!

I know my body pretty well, My period was due that day and i happened to be at my moms house, my sister bought a test for herself cause she was trying to get pregnant, she bought a two pack she turned out negative, I told her my period was due that day and i didn't get it yet so she gave me the other and 5 min later found out i was going to be a mom for the 3rd time!! Shocked the hell out of my husband!!

I have not got one yet but it usually takes a week after conception for enough hormone to build up in your urine to come back positive. but you wouldneed to use the early preg test that lets you test 5 days beore you missed your perid.

I checked the day before my period and it was positive.
