No. It depends more on emigration from Israel to other countries. A trend that seems to be accelerating.

Since when has Saudi Arabia recognized the PLO?
They and every other Arab country did not even concider them worthwhile until Israel was going to be given their country back.
The PLO were nomads until 1918 when the British decided to let the Jewish people have Israel back.
Up until then both the Jews and Arabs lived in peace. When they were told about the Israel being given back to the Jewish people the countries around that area, Trans Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Egypt told them, the PLO or Palistinians, to settle and then they would have their own country.
When Israel became a country in 1948 the Arabs countries attacked Israel and tried to destroy them with promises of giving the land to the Palistinians, which never happened.
Saudi Arabia and the other countries just wanted to make sure that there was not a Jewish state but rather only an Arab region!

Saudi Arabia "might be" a USA ally, but Israel is "for sure" a USA ally, the ties with Israel are stronger. The Palestinians may have their statehood as soon as they finish with their terrorist acts against Israel and recognize it, not a second before.

Israel has long recognized the Palestinians' right to statehood, on the condition that Palestine also recognize Israel's right to statehood. It has always been Palestine's unwillingness to grant this, that have prevented Israel's endorsing and even giving aid to a Palestinian state.
So, under current conditions, it seems that Israel would be endangered by the formation of a Palestinian state. It isn't clear to me exactly how Israel can secure its future, but I hope it does.

"The unusually strong comments from the Muslim kingdom"
Unusual? Ha!
Since when is Saudi Arabia a fair and honest commentator on what Israel's future is supposed to be? I think its also arrogant of them too. Maybe it should be Israel's decision on what is best for them, not Saudi Arabia.

Israel's future is in God's hands alone! These are God's chosen people and when Israel became a nation again, it was a moment marked in the Bible as very significant!! God has His hand on his people, regardless of what Palestine or any other country does!

No. Palestinian statehood is important to Palestinians, but is just as excuse to the rest of the region. Isreal's future depends entirely on it's ability to defend itself.
