my last period was July 23, 07 I had a transvirgina ultrasound that showed I have pcos on August 31, my dr gave me metformin to take along with provera, he said my uterus linning was thick enough for my period to come so I should be expectin my period real shortly after the last provera pill, today is the 6th day after the last provera, I was wondering could I still ovulate late even if my last period was in July?

Your doctor should have given you a pregnancy test before prescribing you Provera as it is not healthy to take if you are pregnant. It normally takes 7-10 days for your period to start after taking the last provera pill, so it may still show up within the next few days.

Yes you could still ovulate late, but the provera in your system will not help any in that matter.

Good luck from a PCOS mother after 6 years of trying.

I don't think so, but i would wait till you get your period to try an conceive and i would ask the doctor to give you femmera and a profasi shot this will help you get pregnant.I did this when i got pregnant with my daughter .

P.S i forgot to mention that i have PCOS and that i saw a fertility specialist and if he is not a specialist ask him if he can referred you to one.
