Thanks for all the honest straight forward answers. I didn't put this question up to be judgemental or anything like that. I smoked for many years, even quit once for almost 15 years and got hooked a second time, real smart eh? When my grandson was born 3 1/2 years ago I quit for good. Can't afford to go back now. Yes, I miss them.

Yes, I started in 1966 at the age of 15 when everybody thought it was kool, many smokers then. Everybody pushed them on you, people advertisers, movies, smoke and win. Addicted, severe addiction, controlls your mind, you try to quit but its your mind that wants the nicotine. Long story short I'm 55 and am dying. Smokers are loosers and I lost!

I tried smoking when I was 17, but I didn't like it so I'm glad I haven't got caught up in that habit, it's so hazardous to any ones health.

Nope. Grew up in a household where smoking was banned and where I was taught not to like smoking because it stinks and is bad for you.
