Okay folks lets try to use a little intelligence here. Is LSU a great team, yes. Do they deserve to be #2, yes. It is true they beat a top 10 school, but right now USC is so far ahead of them in the rankings that one game will not change that.

You can't penalize SC for having a bye week. If you do, then the same thing will happen when LSU has a bye week.

For now USC is #1 and whether it remains that way will depend on their ability to get motivated. Neither team "sucks" and it is Dumb to see fans argue as if one of these two teams shouldn't be in the top 25.

As long as you make it to the title game, who cares if you were #1 or #2.

No way! The first week is not a good indicator what teams can do and I believe both of these teams were holding back. i really think the polls should not even be switched up until after at least three weeks. I think LSU is very strong, but I want to see what they do this week against Virginia Tech before vaulting them to #1. Va Tech is better than last weeks performance and LSU could be in for trouble if they think this week will be a cakewalk. Va Tech was just so hopped up on emotions and ECU is better than most people know.

USC will lose this weekend and LSU will move up to the # ! spot. For your information the best college football team ever is the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers. This years USC team would lose to them by at least 3 touchdowns.

Loser????????????
I'm not an LSU fan, but after seeing them dismantle Va Tech this weekend it would be hard to imagine anyone beating them.
Only time will tell.
Don't forget, USC was "invincible" last year too, and Florida took them apart in the championship game. Maybe they're the overrated ones.......
