I had the same problem until high school, I just did not like math, perhaps you don't like it either. I enrolled in a electricity/electronics class, it was something I was very interested in, well you have to do math to be do calculations in the class, I got much better in math, my parents were scratching their heads, they really tried to explain it, but in the end I did it all by myself, I just took a different approach to getting it figured out.Hopefully you can find away to do the same thing.Good luck....

You may just not have any natural interest or real apptitude for the subject. But that doesn't make you a bad person.
Try to take notes in class as the teacher explains things. Also, work all of the example problems in your book. Go through each of them step by step until you understand what was done (and, more importantly, --why-- it was done)
Work homework problems. Practice is the way you get good an anything.
Ask questions. Get your teacher to explain something better if you don't really understand it.

"To be able to understand mathematics means to be able to do mathematics."
-George Polya, Mathematician
math is not a memorization subject, we should practice what we learn. try to resolve problems on your own that was solved by the teacher or classmates.
also try to study in advance so that you will have enough kowledge to whatever math lessons you will go through the day..

To perform better in mathematics, what you must to is to master your multiplication very well. Also at times it might seemed difficult to do but try to stay after school and consult with your instructors you're having difficulties understanding math and they should be able to assist you.

do a lot of math exercises in a book and get the best answers you can. Review the work with someone a lot better at math than you. I always do my math homework at the math study lab.

You have to concentrate on the subject in which you are weak.
1.You must have concentration
2.Be attentive in your class.
If you don't know any particular sum you have to do it 2-4 times then you will automatically get it.
YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD WORK.
REMEMBER:HARD WORK IS THE SECRET OF SUCCESS

It's not that you are bad at it, it's just the wrong methods are being used for you. You need to find the right way to study it. There's great programs like calmat that teaches math
