when will this horrible taste go or will i have it the whole of pregnancy?? i feel sick constantly and it makes me feel worse :o(

it comes and goes. Some days I wake up feeling like I have been eating rubber bands!!! But most of the time I'm fine.

I am 26 weeks along, and I generally have either a horrible taste in my mouth or my mouth feels totally dirty, even though I brush 3-5 times per day.
Drinking soda water with lemon or plain water with lemon really helps out. The soda water and lemon also helps with my nausea.

It's gotten a little better for me. In the beginning just that alone could make me vomit. I had very severe morning sickness, and it seemed any little thing would set it off. Sometimes it was metallic tasting, other times it was just sour. You can try sucking on hard candy, chewing gum, or brushing your teeth often to help control it. Also drink lots of water...it helps to flush out the bad taste sometimes. Congrats and best of luck...it does get better!

I had a "metally" taste in my mouth for the 1st 3 months or so. I was never actually sick, but felt sick for 3-4 mths. I used to have a bag full of herbal tablets (bit aniseedy) and these used to help. Its all worth it in the end!!!

Aww poor you, its horrible isn't it??
Mine stopped about 16 weeks, although I do get the odd day where it comes back.
I suggest anything acidic (salt and vinegar crisps, lemon/lime squash, grapefruit or orange juice and sharp/sour boiled sweets) helped me...its worth a try!!!
