I chuckle at their all knowing abilities. They are just so "matter of fact".

There is a gene for gays. They are formed before birth, they are not made. Most gay people know they are gay at a very early age way before most people know what they are. They say that also about transgender people. It makes a lot more sense than saying someone can make him/her non gay,or that someone made him/her gay.I know I am a woman, straight, but some people cannot with certainty say they are straight, and its not because of anything but a gene, it made my eyes blue and made some people gay..

Dude to claim there is a single gene that causes a person to be gay is stupid. If thats the case then WHO was carrying the gene, the father? If being gay is carried in a gene, then how comes identical twins don't always share the same SEXUAL preference.
Sexual Preference is not a sum of your genes, its a sum of your genes AND your upbringing AND your culture.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it is wrong.
There is so much we don't know about genetics, how can anyone say with confidence that there is or isn't a gay gene? That's crazy.

Yes.
Although it's been shown that there are genetic factors to homosexuality, it is unknown whether there is a "gay gene" or not. They believe it has something to do with the brain.

Ahhh... So you believe there is a gay gene? You can't say that with any more validity than saying there isn't one.

well there has got to be something there!
But we do not know enough yet about our genetic system.
There is no right or wrong answer here, everybody will have their own opinion about this.
I have many gay friends and they are the best friends. No right no wrong!

There is no gay gene. Its a birth deformity just like some might be born with one finger missing. Your missing a cromazone or something in the sex category.
