The Go-Go's were way more popular, but The Bangles were the better band. At least in their early days, they had some really good songs.
Hero Takes a Fall - still their best song
Going Down to Liverpool
Manic Monday
In Your Room - not their best song, but sort of a guilty pleasure.
Hazy Shade of Winter - great cover.
I agree with tommiecat, I wish they kept producing instead of flaming out the way they did.

I have to say the Bangles although I'm disappointed they didnt have more stuff
I listened to "Walk Like an Egyptian" for months before I got tired of it.
But when some classic station plays it now I crank it up
