These are 2 educated doctors living the UK dream with 3 beautiful kids - they have absolutely no history of violence - they have money to leave their kids in the UK while they go on vacation (if they supposedly don't care about their kids) - why would they even take her with them if they were going to kill her???? You people need to use your brain a little. They made a BAD BAD mistake by leaving their children alone while they were sleeping because they couldn't imagine anything like this happening to them and you all are convicting them of murder based on the fact that they left their kids alone - That does not constitute murder!

neshka - exactly how i feel - Susan Smith got on tv and cried and sobbed begging the kidnappers to bring her kids home when the whole time she knew they were in the bottom of the lake she had drown them in

dusty45 - ofcourse I've never left my kids to go eat or anything else for that matter - but that does not mean they are murderers - you are convicting them just because of a stupid mistake (neglectful) they made - that's wrong too -

They won't be convicted.
If the portuguese police had any hard evidence, they would have charged them and they wouldn't have been allowed to return to the UK.

Iam no hater of them,I just don't agree with what they did,from what I understand they went out for a meal whilst they left there children alone-sleeping or not they were in another country and say they was some sort of hazardous problem in the house or the children suddenly woke up and were scared.Hopefully No one would want to imagine anything bad happening to there child,but why take the risk.They may be educated doctors but what they do in the private life beyond closed doors may be completely different to the persona that they show us.

They have certainly made an enormous mistake, now they are fugitives.Their life is in ruins.What about the children ? They decided to be official suspects because they chose to remain silent during questioning.They answered 22 , the remaining questions will perhaps convict them, guilty or not.They are completely out of their depth .Their life will never be the same again guilty or not.They made a huge mistake going on holiday to Portugal.They should have stayed in England, where everything was familiar to them .

if they did kill her(Maddie) i am sure it wasn't premeditated.it could have been an accident.leaving three toddlers alone is not a mistake it is neglect.and child endangerment to boot.do you go out to dinner and leave your children asleep in a foreign country?get real. i am not convicting anyone,you asked a question.i answered it.and i didn't say they killed her,accidents happen everyday but it is up to the parents to supervise and look out for the welfare of their children.
