Put white vinegar and water mix thru the cycle. Mix half and half or just straight vinegar. Do this a couple of times then straight water cycle to rinse good. If the coffee pot has stains that did not come out use salt and very little water and slush it around and let sit. The stains should come out easy then! Hope this helps!

On my Mr. Coffee machine, I run a full pot of white vinegar thru every other weekend. I then run through 2 pots of clean water through.

Here's what I do... Fair warning, it stinks (literally):

Run a full brew cycle with an empty filter in the basket, with a mixture of 1/2 vinegar and water. Do this with an empty filter in the basket.

If the pot's really filthy, do it again. Replace the filter each time.

Run plain water through 2 or 3 times to rinse it out, again replacing the filter each time.
