I have a great product. I want to be a vendor to grocers/markets/supermarkets. Does anyone have experience in this field? What are the major steps involved and possible and probable problems that will arise? Where do I begin and how much capital am I looking at here to start?

I think the woman who started Mrs Fields Cookies wrote a book on that subject that you could probably find in the library or on Amazon. She started with a good recipe and a millionaire husband. If you have both of those you could be the next to win big in that field.

Look around locally for courses taught at community colleges or by your states economic development department that offer advice to people who want to start small businesses. They cover the major steps and how to deal with problems and how to estimate what you will need for money.
