any new and yummy soup recipes? I'm tired of the usual ones I know and am wiiling to try new ones, since soup is pretty much all I can eat during Ramadan. I tried some recipes from the net but while they may sound nice they turn out to be not that nice after I try them. I want some recipes that you personally have tried and can guarantee are yummy! No vegetable, lentil, noodle, tomato ... etc etc please. I'm looking for something NEW. Thanks in advance.

Harira soup 2
(I do not have a link)

- 300 g ( 10 1/2oz ) lean lamb (cubed) - 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 large onion (finely chopped) - 1 tsp of Turmeric
- 1 piece of ginger (pressed) - 1 tsp of paprika powder
- 100 g ( 4oz ) lentils - 1 tsp of cumin
- 3 bunches of parsley - 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1 stick of white celery - 100 g ( 4oz ) rice
- 4 bunches of coriander (finely chopped) - 3 dl ( 10fl oz ) tomato sauce
- salt and pepper - 3 Litre ( 5 1/4 pint ) water
- 2 lamb cubes

To Prepare
Put the onion and ginger in the soup pan together with the meat, lentils, parsley, celery,
cinnamon, turmeric, paprika and cumin. Add the water and bring to the boil. Season with the
pepper, salt and lamb cubes; simmer for an hour with the lid on. Add the rice and simmer for
20 minutes. Add the coriander and tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the
parsley, celery and cinnamon stick, add the lemon juice and simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve warm with lemon juice and cinnamon powder seperately so that guests can season with
sweet or sour at will.
