Appalican State(know I spelled that wrong) beating Michigan, South Florida over Auburn things like this and we still have a stupid BCS system in place how much longer till college football gets a playoff system they need one bad.

I'm not! Michigan ranked pre-season number 5 (we all know how their season is going) and Auburn, who was supposed to contend for the SEC title which is one of the 'elite' BCS conferences, got upended by South Florida, the 4th best team of the Big East which was supposed to be the conference that wasn't worthy of BCS credibility. I don't believe in the BCS. PLAYOFF NOW!!!

I think a college playoff system would make college football better than the NFL, although I already feel it's better now anyway. I would love to see the playoff system with 8 teams. I think the BCS rankings can stay to determine the top 8 and do the seeding for such a playoff system. Unfortunately no playoff system will work til 2011 or 2012 due to the current contract Fox has with the BCS. Not to mention that a lot of writers and college football people are against a playoff system because they think it will hurt the small schools and schools not in playoffs even more than the BCS hurts them now.

I would be satisfied with a BCS +1 format if we cant do a full playoff. That way everyone still gets their money (thats the key) and controversy can be settled with the extra game.
Another option is to slightly change the bowl lineup to have #1 play #4 and #2 play #3......the winners play for the championship.

this college football season has been crazy. Its the year of the cupcake. Although app. state is the only cupcake that won, many others have played top 10 teams really close.
Anyway the BCS sucks, and they need an 8 team playoff.

wasnt aware that anyone on the planet was ever in favor of the BCS,, we still want a playoff system,,,,, BCS sucks

They do need one so LSU can rip a hole in USC and show who the best is once and for all. Even though it is going to be LSU and OU in the national championship because USC will lose two games this year with there Louisiana QB and Running back.
