Why did i hate the movie napoleon dynamite? and why did so many people like that movie? it was terrible. Boring too.

The dance scene was the only (kinda) funny part of the movie. I watched the movie knowing and expecting that it was going to be stupid, but I never could have prepared myself for just how stupid it actually was.
The only reason why I now like the dance scene is because when I was an Elementary school Teacher, this kid in 6th grade did the dance for the talent show and he did it perfectly and it was hilarious!

I have no idea why so manypeople love that movie. I pretty much sat through the whole thing unomoving with a glazed look on my face. Was it supposed to be funny? I didn't get it. Maybe 33 is too old to appreciate Napolean Dynamite.

People like all different types of comedy. Napoleon Dynamite is more of a laid back stupid funny, im guessing that the people in your small town like that kind of comedy and you like something different.

I have to agree with you. I didn't like that movie at all. The only redeeming quality was Napoleon's dance, but sitting through the rest of the movie wasn't worth that one scene!

What was the point? How does that movie deal with real life? I think that movie as well as all the movies, short clips, and anything that has to deal with miley the virus is nothing but a huge waste of film and should be destroyed by any means.

i know!!!!! people only thought it was funny because of the apperance of napoleon dynamite.It was sooooo boring,it didnt realy have a storyline

I hated it the first 57 times I watched it.
After that, it grew on me.

It was AWFUL!! I turned it off after an hour. I figured why waste another hour of my life on that drivel.
No clue why other people liked it.

I thought it was bad...did nothing for me and I couldn't understand why so many supposedly thought it was great. I also saw Superbad last weekend and it was just that...super bad.
