I'm in a Yahoo! fantasy football league. Last night, after the games were listed as FINAL, I had 91 points. This morning, I had 88 points. How did I lose points after the football games were over? How and why do fantasy points go up and down like that, especially after the game is OVER?

It's based on the final box score.

Sometimes fumbles get reassigned to a different person, or stats are adjusted based on official scoring.

It is very common to go up or down a point or two.

LIVE SCORING isn't gospel. the NFL stats aren't official until like tuesday late morning. you very well could have 91 points sunday night & end up w/ a different score monday or tuesday when stats are official.

you could have lost points by estimated yards during LIVE SCORING. if the stats people guessed Addai rushed for 3.5 yds on one play & after further review it was an even 4, official stats will take care of it.

you could go to the adjustments page & check BUT, it's not always there. LIVE Scoring is just an approximation waiting on the officail stats to come in. IF you see lost points a couple days later, it WILL show up on the adjustments page,

I hope you still won! i know how it sucks to think you eked one out, only to be let down a few days later. BUT, i have won after adjustments were made, ONCE!

GOOD LUCK this year!

A play can be ruled differently after the game. Say a defensive player tackles a QB at about the line of scrimmage and they award that player a sack. Later, it is determined on film the QB got a 1-yard gain and they take the sack away.

Stats, Inc. is in charge of the official statistics of Yahoo's scoring, and the scoring will always reflect Stats, Inc.'s rulings.

Check the adjustments section... Sometimes they give players additional yards than they really had or add a lost fumble something like that. But on the main league page towards the top there should be an adjustments tab that you can check and see if your players were involved.

The league could have a reviewed a fumble and changed their mind (giving it to another player, or overturning it as a fumble, or any number of things). In all likelihood, it was a stat review. Did the 3 pts cause you to lose ?
