An opened superglue will gradually harden because its cap is not ultra airtight. What is the solution?

Close the cap tightly, put in a plastic cover and keep in fridege, not freezer.

Good question, here's your star. I say this because I have had the same experience with every tube of superglue I have ever opened. I even went as far as to contact the manufacturer and they couldn't even offer me a solution. They sent me a 12 pack of their superglue tubes. As far as my experiences with all types of superglue I just consider it as a one time use and toss the unused portion of the tube once I have used it. I will try the hints I have read here but I'm not holding my breath.

I use a straight-pin. Leave enough sticking out to grab. I have not had one glue itself to the tube.

Never had that problem. But then again I have no problem just buying another tube.

REPLACE THE LID.
it won't keep forever no matter how you store it.
