Can you honestly believe she would have stayed with Billy boy during the Monica Lewinsky scandal if she didn't have something else like a presidency in mind? Not only the name but the 'stand-by-your-man' mentality to show she is a good old fashioned American woman. Yes, can you visualize any unmarried person running for president? Certainly not an unmarried woman. The Clinton name is very important to her at this time.

Well, her last name was elected twice & spent 8 years actually running the country. There were rumors that Hillary was actually more involved than any first lady had ever been. She may actually not be bad if people would just look at the fact that she does have experience that no other candidate has!

I think it's a combination of three things:
Her last name, her talent for raising funds for other democrat candidates, thereby making them beholden to her and her husband, and her uncanny ability to say what her base wants to hear, sometimes without any intention on acting on her promises if she's elected. She would campaign as a centrist, but rule from the far left.

My wife has no clue what i do at my job but lots of people think she has experience. The only reason she got a NY senate was because of Bill.

She, I do admit started off with good intentions but seems to have sold out. I do not believe special interests and lobbyist were ever for the good of the country.

No, not necessarily. Her stance on the Iraq war has made her very popular. Also, the fact that she has a strong chance at becoming the first female president adds the success to her campaign.

Partly, but at the end of the day the name doesn't get you elected.

I've watched every debate and she has been impressive. She is extremely knowledgeable, answers questions in great detail, and seems to have her finger on the pulse of what America needs to do.

She doesn't have my vote (yet) but I like what I've seen so far.

That and her campaign staff. She has by far the best most experienced and well funded staff of any candidate. Like her or not, they have done a suberb job to date.

Of course her name has a lot to do with it. The poor and ignorant are looking for a savior to increase welfare benefits and give them free health care. Remember Bill was called the "black" President and Hillary is going to keep them happy by taxing and spending...

What else can explain the salivating of her followers?
The woman has done little--if anything--during her time as a Senator.

Perhaps I'm being too harsh; she does practice sedition.
